Could Code Black make a comeback after all? According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS is considering renewing the cancelled TV show.
As reported earlier, the network cancelled the medical drama this year after three seasons. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Luis Guzmán, Boris Kodjoe, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, Emily Tyra, Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Alyn Lind, Moon Bloodgood, and Rob Lowe.
During this summer’s TCA press conference, CBS Entertainment chief Kelly Kahl revealed the network is figuring out how to do a fourth season of Code Black:
It’s doing incredibly well. It’s a well-done show. We’d like to figure out a way to maybe make it work.”
While nothing final has been decided, Kahl did say CBS is looking into another season.

Please bring it back. One of the best shows on tv for grown-ups. With all the reality garbage on tv, there is very little left watching that is worth the time. Code Black is one of the few.

My husband and I love Code Black and were furious when it was cancelled before. We love the show and Marcia is wonderful as are the rest of the cast. Please renew and we will be so happy. Please………………………………A wonderful, well acted, good plots, the best.

Code Black is one of our favorite TV dramas, and we were so surprised to hear that it was being canceled. We would love to hear that it is being given another season. It is one of the most realistic and well-done medical programs that we have had the fortune to watch.
Please please please renew. We’re talking it up to people not watching. It is equally as good as Greys Anatomy and better than Chicago Med, so much better. Actor group is top knot he, story lines are incredible and as a nurse I’m really critical. Bring it back. #codeblackcomebackandrule
CBS needs to read thousands of comments on Code Black’s Facebook page. 100% of them say “CBS must be out of their minds, keep Code Black or give it up to another network. By now it must be over a million or more comments. Save one of the best shows that CBS has ever had.

As seasoned nurse I am so upset that Code Black has been cancelled. I hope another station picks it up.
PLEASE!!!!! don’t cancel Code Black. At last a REAL medical drama. One of the best shows you have on CBS. This is my favorite station to watch.
