TV show description:
This gritty medical drama revolves around an Emergency Room in Los Angeles where underfunding and understaffing pile huge pressure on its staff. A “code black” is issued when the ER no longer has the manpower, capacity or equipment to operate effectively.
Doctor Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) is the ER Residency Director. She’s a brilliant doctor and an experienced professional who often has to resort to her intuition as opposed to standard medical procedures in order to save lives. She reminds her staff that life is measured in split seconds and a moment of hesitation can be the difference between life and death.
On the flip side to Leanne’s risk-taking is Doctor Neal Hudson (Raza Jaffrey) who is constantly at odds with her cavalier attitude.
Leanne’s confidante is Senior Nurse Jesse Salander (Luis Guzman) who’s seen it all at the country’s most notorious ER. His job is to manage the residents. Like the other technicians, doctors and nurses, he is facing a daily battle to save lives under immense pressure.
Mario Savetti (Benjamin Hollingsworth), Christa Lorenson (Bonnie Somerville), Angus Leighton (Harry Ford) and Malaya Pineda (Melanie Chandra) are all first-year residents coming to terms with the harsh realities of their chosen profession.
Episode #47 — Business of Saving Lives
Angels Memorial descends into chaos when a plane crashes into the eighth floor. Also, it is up to Mario to save Noa’s life when she has a car accident. In addition, Willis admits to Rox that he needs her in his life, and the doctors gather in court to support Leanne for her custody hearing.
First aired: July 18. 2018.
What do you think? Do you like the Code Black TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for season four on CBS?
Love the show and look forward to it every week! Think it is has a great combination of medical reality and doctor and nurse dynamics is a way the layman doesn’t see on the “normal” ER visit. Definitely keep it on- it’a become a family staple!
This is an amazing show and I hope that it is renewed!! There is action from start to finish which makes it very hard to walk away from. This show is different than all the other medical shows so it definitely deserves to stay!! It has a great cast with awesome story lines. Please don’t cancel it!!!!!!!!!!!
This show is beyond excellent. My favorite show of the whole past season. I can think of many many shows that deserve to be pulled. You showed great taste when you put CodeBlack on the air. What has happened to that good taste? Please reconsider and allow this outstanding show continue. Restore my faith in you.

Please do not cancel Code Black! It is one of my favorite shows!
Why is it every time there’s a good show on, you people have to cancel it? Not all of us want to watch reality TV. Some of us just want to watch a good show. If we wanted reality, we would listen to more news.
Do not cancel code black! This is a great show and there is so many ways it can go yet
Great show. Don’t cancel.
