Collector’s Call is coming back! Broadcasting & Cable reports MeTV has renewed the TV show for a second season.
Hosted by Lisa Whelchel, the unscripted series highlights “major collectors of pop culture memorabilia. Professional appraisers put an estimated value on the collectibles, and try to tempt the collectors to sell.”
Season two of Collector’s Call will debut on MeTV in 2020.

I had such an amazing time meeting collectors and their out-of-this-world collections in season one, that I can’t wait to hit the road and explore even more unbelievable collections in season two. The only thing more captivating than the items in these collections are the people who go to incredible lengths to acquire them.”

This is a great show and we need more programming like this. I can’t wait to see Season 2 and hopefully, Season 3.

I’m glad collector’s call is being renewed for a second season. I’ve always been a fan of Lisa Whelchel and she does a great job as an interviewer for this show. It’s interesting to see the collections that people come up with and the money that they invest in these collections. I love Lisa beautiful smile and You couldn’t have asked for a better host so hats off to Me-TV. Looking forward two season 2.
Figured METV was smoking some bad stuff when I saw the promo ads for this series. But, I gave it a chance to see what METV could do with a series of their own, and one in today’s world vie historic rerun land. That said, I was surprised that I enjoyed the show. Although Ms. Whelchel is still suffering from Never Ending Smile disease she does a good job handling the hosting, carries on the banter with guests who are just regular people afflicted with their own disease (collecting) and manages to pull it all off. I am glad to hear Collector’s Call has been renewed for a second season. I have not missed 1 episode since the show aired. I find it entertaining, interesting, & informative. Plus, I have been a fan of Lisa Whelchel since the Facts of Life.
I participated in season 1, and it’s interesting to see the other collections featured. I’m looking forward to seeing what other collections will be featured in season 2!
I think it’ll be great! I’m a fan of “FACTS OF LIFE” and Lisa, personally I watch TV to escape my stress and the pressures of life…. this seems like a good Avenue to travel!
TV execs/producers embrace mediocrity. They keep the airwaves filled with dross, a “vast wasteland,” because they underestimate the intelligence of the American public.
