Is Designated Survivor coming back after all? According to CinemaBlend, the cancelled ABC TV show is producing a third season.
The political thriller stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, a low-level Cabinet member who becomes President of the United States after a major attack on the capital. The cast includes Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, Tanner Buchanan, Kal Penn, and Maggie Q.
Even though ABC cancelled Designated Survivor, it seems the show might be returning for a third season. CinemaBlend says the drama series is set to resume production in Toronto soon under the thinly veiled name The White House Project.
It’s unclear at this moment which network season three will air on if indeed the new season is happening.

Yes I would definitely watch a season 3. It was such a good show and so well written and acted, I cannot believe ABC canceled. Please bring it back just the way it was!
YES! Please bring this show back. It is one of the best tv has to offer and Kieffer Sutherland is a feather in the network’s cap. The show had thoughtful story lines, gave behind the scene views of the workings of our government, and starred an excellent cast of characters. I, and many friends and family members, are super-fans of Designated Survivor! Save it, please.

Yes!!! I hope this is true and there will be a Designated Survivor Season 3. Our family loves this show and could not believe that the show was cancelled. How do shows like Big Brother and The Bachelorette/Bachelor continue year after year and shows like Designated Survivor not survive? If there is a Season 3, we will definitely be watching!!!
