Should NBC return to the Land of Oz? The network’s freshman series Emerald City just ended its first season on March 3rd, but should it be renewed for second two?
Based on the books by L. Frank Baum, the Emerald City fantasy drama follows Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona), a young woman who is transported from Kansas to a mystical and mysterious land called “Oz.” The cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Gerran Howell, Jordan Loughran, and Joely Richardson.
Season one of Emerald City debuted on January 6th to low ratings, earning a 1.00 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.485 million viewers. From there, the numbers declined further. It would seem that viewer interest was waning. The show’s first season only managed to average a 0.72 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.02 million viewers — making it the lowest-rated new series on NBC.

This show needs to return! I thoroughly enjoyed it but because of its schedule, I usually had to record it or watch later on demand. This is a much better show than half the crap on TV that they don’t cancel. Can’t believe they didn’t promote it and give it a better shot.
Please bring this show back NBC or another network pick it up.
HBO would we absolutely fantastic. I refuse to watch another NBC series if emerald city is not brought back for a second season
NBC definitely screwed up by not renewing a second season of Emerald City!! I have been in love with the wizard of oz since I was 4 years old!! And the writing of this series with all the dark stuff added was tremendous!! Wish they would Change their minds and BRING BACK EMERALD CITY!!! Or another network should pick it up!!!
Finish it my fiance and i love this show are tired series ending like this please make new one. Or NBC looses our interest!

I loved this show! Simply fantastic! How dare it be cancelled? I’m 55 yrs. Young, hubby is 60,son is 24. We all loved the series! If season 2 was already in the can perhaps Netflix would pick it up. Fantastic actors, costumes are phenomenal, as are the location sets. How dare you cancel this NBC!!
Was looking for a new fantasy show to watch and found “Emerald City” on Hulu. I watched the whole season in two days. When I looked for a Season 2 r elease date I discovered it was cancelled. Why?! Is it because we need more reality shows? Please!! “Emerald City” is quality TV. To whom it may concerned…bring it back!
I found Emeraled city few months back and wanted to see if they were renewing it. I never knew this was on cable I found it on Hulu and loved it! I want more!!!!
if you are going to cancel one of the greatest shows you’ve ever put on at least give it an ending don’t leave it where it’s at give it one more season to wrap it up God you did it was Heroes Reborn and that was horrible please I’m begging you don’t end it there
NBC does not listen to its viewers very well. This was a great show & how they cancelled it after the 1st season was a big mistake, I think more people would have started to watch it f it would have continued. I watched it from Hulu due to the fact I didn’t even know it was a show till I seen it on Hulu. NBC u get rid of to many great shows, example Grimm need I say more.

Wow! What a great show. I didn’t watch it when it first premiered so I watch it on demand with Direct TV. I watch all episodes in one night. The first thing I did was goggle when season 2 was going to premier was bum when I found out it had been cancel. I hope they bring it back my family and I absolutely loved this show. Please NBC bring back or any network please bring it back.
Yes and I think I have read all these post and the people want it back on . So take of some of the disgusting shows and put this back
