Doctor Henry Morgan may be immortal but his TV show isn’t. ABC has cancelled the Forever TV series after one season of 22 episodes.
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner (Ioan Gruffudd) can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out the how or the why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The series debuted last September to a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.26 million viewers. The ratings grew for episode two but they started falling after that.
Though the Forever series had some very passionate fans, that devotion didn’t translate into positive ratings. The numbers were pretty poor for much of the season and the show ended up averaging a 1.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.93 million viewers.
As a result, ABC has decided against ordering a second season of Forever. The last episode aired earlier this week and unfortunately left viewers with lots of unanswered questions.

It should be renewed, I enjoyed the show and it left me wanting more
So, I watch the (cw) on my phone cause everyone else hogs the 3 Tv’s at home, and my favorite TV show is supernatural. So I’m watching my program and I see a commercial for the (cw seed) and I downloaded the app , and saw the preview for the TV show forever and quickly it became my second favorite TV show and now I am sad because I’ve watched all 22 episodes and that’s all it’s going to be ☹️No more episodes. There are just a few good itelligent shows and Forever is one of them, but again it is not about entertaining it`s about numbers. Placing advertisment. Wake up people before you lose the last viewer!

I think this show was fabulous… And hope it will come back… it was interesting and had a lot of suspense which gave the viewer a reason to watch this show…we need more like this.. my husband and I both enjoyed this show!!!
It was a good clean entertaining show. It had everything I was looking for in a show. How sad the network could not see this and give it more time.Think again and bring it back!!!!!!!

Huge mistake to cancel, poor buss and artistic move.WHY?I loved the series it took me away into another world ,which by the way is why any person watches anything at all whether one realizes that or not.

This Serie was a very good one. I binge watched it and it was like reading a very good book. It has high quality standards. Maybe this is the reason why it has been cancelled: the people are getting dumb and dumber.
Finally a series my whole family enjoyed. All the elements of great viewing and no WEIRD and distasteful content. My kids loved it. PLEASE PLEASE RECONSIDER !!!!
