Perhaps because ABC owns General Hospital outright, the network sometimes doesn’t announce if their sole surviving soap opera has been renewed for another season. (They didn’t make an announcement about the 2016-17 season.) Of course, they’d certainly let us know if the show had been cancelled. Will GH survive to see a 55th season (2017-18)? How will it do in the ratings? Stay tuned.
Debuting on April 1st of 1963, General Hospital revolves around the loves, lives, and deaths of the people of Port Charles, New York. The current season’s cast includes Vinessa Antoine, Maurice Benard, Teresa Castillo, Tyler Christopher, Matt Cohen, William deVry, Chad Duell, Sonya Eddy, Jane Elliot, Kathleen Gati, Nancy Lee Grahn, Carolyn Hennesy, Rebecca Herbst, Roger Howarth, Finola Hughes, Lisa Lo Cicero, Billy Miller, Kelly Monaco, Ryan Paevey, Haley Pullos, Brytni Sarpy, Kirsten Storms, Robert Palmer Watkins, Maura West, Laura Wright, and Dominic Zamprogna.

Cancel the show. There’s NO real story. The show is so predictable. It repeats itself and bring back too many dead people and useless people like that last blonde gossiping nurse. Good riddance.
This show has a stellar cast of great actors who are capable of delivering great drama and comedy. Of course it was better and had better ratings when Ron Carlivati was writing it. Hope to see the Jason character go along with the current writers in 2017, and bring back Ron C or someone with his skill set. It currently seems like they are making it up as they go along without much forethought.
I’ve been watching gh for the last 25 years, it really keeps me entertained when I do my daily run, if it gets cancelled I’m not sure any other show could help pass the time
I really hope GH doesn’t get cancelled. I’ve been watching since I was a child ,am 52 now. It’s my favorite. If you cancel it,me and everyone I know will boycott ABC. They love it as much as I do. I could think of a lot of shows that are on your network that need to be cancelled. GH is NOT one of them!

Like Robert Sean Tiffany Frisco Robin Luke that who make gh expecially Robert and Anna with their fighters and love making together you can real feel how much they cares about each other’s love them so much.Sean and Tiffany their witty relationship.Felicia would hsve never choice Mac over Frisco that what we talking about
