Girls: Cast to Appear on Inside the Actors Studio Ahead of the Series Premiere

by Regina Avalos, February 5, 2017

Girls: Cast to Appear on Inside the Actors Studio Ahead of the Series Premiere Girls will return for its final season later this month, and fans of the series will get an inside look at the cast and the series in the days just before the premiere. It was revealed in a new press release that the cast of the HBO series will appear on Inside the Actors Studio before the series premieres season six. Find out more about the appearance in the press release below. Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning "Inside the Actors Studio," hosted by James Lipton, presents a laugh-out-loud, yet intimate episode with the cast of HBO's critically-acclaimed comedy "Girls" on Thursday, February 9 at 8pm ET/PT. Creator, co-executive producer and star, Lena Dunham is joined by fellow cast members Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams to appear on Lipton's stage and discuss their most cherished experiences just days before the start of the final season premiering on HBO this Sunday, February 12th at 10pm ET/PT. Loosely drawn from Dunham's personal life, the Emmy Award-winning series is a comedic look at the raw humiliations and intermittent triumphs of a group of girls in their mid-20's living in New York City. From their individual backgrounds to the journey they've shared together both on and off screen, Lipton leaves no stone unturned with this fervent female cast. The episode promises major revelations as a special message from Judd Apatow surprises Dunham and Williams shows off her singing chops; Kirke divulges her difficult decision to become a full-time actress and Mamet reveals an ancestral anecdote that not even her co-stars were privy to. Viewers will learn each performer's favorite scene over the course of the series, as well as their greatest takeaways and an in-depth look at what it was like to say goodbye. My nipple covers ended up on the boy's nipple, their sock thing has fallen off; we've seen each other's stuff. They've gotten excited, they haven't gotten excited." - Allison Williams on her sex scenes in "Girls" "I felt like I was being asked to choose a career today. And... I wasn't ready to say yes to that. But then they told me how much they were going to pay me." - Jemima Kirke on her decision to play Jessa Johansson "Like, I will definitely go to her funeral." - Zosia Mamet speaking as Shoshanna Shapiro in reference to Jessa Johansson "At a certain point, girls become women." - Lena Dunham on why the series is coming to an end after six seasons Are you sad to see Girls end?
