A Netflix comedy police procedural, The Good Cop stars Tony Danza, Josh Groban, Monica Barbaro, Isiah Whitlock Jr, and Bill Kottkamp. The series follows former NYPD officer Tony Caruso Sr (Danza) aka “Big Tony,” and his son, Tony Jr (Groban), who goes by TJ. By-the-book TJ is a current NYPD Brooklyn-based detective, while Big Tony was never too fond of the rules. Now they live together, and sometimes work as unofficial partners, while dear old dad tries to teach his conscientious kid some street smarts.
