Production has now started on Hot Date! The series, from Will Arnett, will land on Pop this fall.

“Hey, U Up?…Whether they’re swiping right, casually dating or hitched and happy, viewers will be hooking up with HOT DATE, an innovative relationship comedy from Pop and CollegeHumor that kicks off production this week in Chicago. Executive produced by Will Arnett (Arrested Development, 30 Rock) alongside CollegeHumor and its production studio Big Breakfast, HOT DATE chronicles the hilarious social mores of dating, sex and marriage in a 10-episode original television series.

Premiering on Pop this fall, HOT DATE dives into the rituals of dating with real-life married comedic duo Emily Axford and Brian K. Murphy, two CollegeHumor stars whose Hot Date videos have garnered over 100 million views. Axford and Murphy star, playing multiple couples and even some of the supporting characters. Arnett makes recurring appearances throughout the season along with a line-up of guest stars.

“It’s rare these days to find authentically funny, original voices like Emily and Murph,” said Arnett. “I’m thrilled to be part of such an inventive show.”

Each half-hour episode of HOT DATE spotlights modern-day relationships and dating dilemmas such as the difficulty of making friends in adulthood, the pitfalls of dating for money, and spicing up sex lives gone…regular.
