AMC has had incredible ratings success with The Walking Dead. Unfortunately, the rest of their scripted shows have struggled to find a large audience. Will Humans be another hit for the cable channel? Will it be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Set in suburban London, Humans takes place in a parallel present, where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a Synthetic. They’re highly-developed robotic servants that are eerily similar to their live counterparts. Unfortunately things don’t always go well and the series follows several storylines concurrently. The cast includes Colin Morgan, Gemma Chan, Katherine Parkinson, Tom Goodman-Hill, William Hurt, Will Tudor, Rebecca Front, Neil Maskell, Danny Webb, Ivanno Jeremiah, Emily Berrington, Sope Dirisu, Lucy Carless, Theo Stevenson, Pixie Davies, and Ruth Bradley.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

An incredible show that did not get the buzz that it should have.
Although set in the future, it touches on issues of the past and present such as slavery, racism, adultery, family discord and yet deals with the future issues one could expect to see with such “servants”.
The series is a different take on future AI servants as addressed in movies such as The Terminator, I Robot and The Matrix but sets itself apart from those with less emphasis on the hi tech machinery and focusing ore on the human / machine relations.
This series MUST continue.
It’s a horrible show that re-hashes all of the angles in previous writings about “synthetics” since Isaac Asimov wrote “I, Robot” in the 1950’s. The mother is particularly irritating with her constant hand-wringing and the matronly synthetic that replaced Odie is just a total turn-off. I got to where I couldn’t stand watching the show and I don’t care if it ever comes back. It would have to be a totally new re-write to get my attention again.
I doubt you will see this, but if you think the show is horrible, just look at what AMC did after season 2. They renewed it for season three after the ratings fell from a 0.39 to a 0.14.Astounding.
Humans is a great show. Just thinking of the possibility for a machine to have true consciousness is mind blowing. This is not a new concept there’s Data from Star Trek TNG and many many others. Unfortunately I agree that the majority of the Human Race would be to afraid that such a machine would try and eliminate us and take over. The “Terminator” concept. I agree with Dan: great show, but americans are too dumb to appreciate it because there aren’t enough things blowing up and there aren’t enough entrails strewn about. Oh well, they can’t all be as good as quality shows like the kardashians, real housewives, or bachelor/bachelorette. Singularity is closer than we think.
I’ve never watched any of those crap reality shows, and I’m American. Humans is a great show. At first I just watched it cause Colin Morgan from BBC Merlin is in it, but I honestly fell in love with the concept and I can’t wait until season 2.

Yes, please renew. I don’t usually watch shows like this but starting watching it with someone else and got hooked. Love it! Please keep it on and please, please bring back the sweet synth who fell in the water. I want to see more of him!
Humans is one of the best shows on television. I’m sure it’s shortfall in America is it’s cerebral… not too many explosions or decaying zombies. It’s well-acted with a unique and creative questioning of our interactions with each other. We need more shows like this.
Yes, all Americans are fat and dumb, just like all Brits have bad teeth and are obsessed with the royal family.

Spread the word and lets save our show Humans. Tired of shoot em up shows or vampires and zombies. Let intelligent people have their own show.
