Kevin Can Wait, which stars Kevin James as a newly retired police officer, will get two more episodes for a season one total of 24. Meanwhile, the Matt LeBlanc comedy Man with a Plan and the Joel McHale sitcom The Great Indoors have each received an order for three more episodes, bringing their season totals to the standard 22.
The episode increase is hardly a surprise. Kevin Can Wait is [su_cbs]CBS[/su_cbs]’ top-rated new comedy of the season, and is currently earning an average rating of 1.82 in the 18-49 demo and around 8.163 million viewers. Meanwhile, The Great Indoors has so far received an average rating of 1.57 in the 18-49 demo and around 7.661 million viewers. Man with a Plan is similarly performing well in the ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 1.30 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.367 million viewers.
