It’s official. There will be no second season of the Life Sentence TV show on The CW. Star Lucy Hale has confirmed the Life Sentence cancellation. Check out her statement, below. Last week, the series’ fate briefly echoed the journey of her character, Stella Abbott. After we reported Life Sentence was cancelled, creator Richard Keith informed us there was still life in the old gal yet, and that the cancellation or renewal decision would be made this week. Although the network has finally sounded the death knell, there is still some good news. There are six episodes left in season one, and the finale is scheduled for June 15th.
A CW Y/A series, Life Sentence stars Lucy Hale, Dylan Walsh, Gillian Vigman, Brooke Lyons, Carlos PenaVega, Jayson Blair, and Elliot Knight. The dramedy centers on Stella. After a lethal cancer diagnosis, she spent eight years living her life like any dying young woman might. Once she learns she’s been cured, Stella must return to living like someone with a whole life ahead of her and help her loved ones to do the same.

The story is a riveting one. We binged it in 2 days. Lucy Hale made you fall in love with the character. Netflix pick this up!

It’s such a great show so sad it is being canceled please give it another season. So many bad shows get renewed but the good ones don’t. This show had a beautiful storyline don’t give up on it.
I agree with you. I just adore this show, I am so disappointed that Life Sentence is being cancelled. Hope another Network will pick it up. I don’t understand the rating system of why these shows get cancelled yet so many people write in not wanting the show to be cancelled.
Life sentence definitely should not be cancelled. We looked forward to it every week. Especially the way they struggled to keep their marriage intact despite challenges and real life obstacles. It also accentuated the power and need of the extended family circle. I hope CW recants and return the series for another entertaining season.

I’m mad tghst it’s getting cancelled very unfair
Going by what others that have watch said, it seems they should’ve lengthened the time she was “cured” and maybe got more story out of it. Some said it was just another teen drama after that, but whatever don’t personally care, just wondered about that when I heard about it.
No I personally don’t think it should have been cancelled because it demonstrates the purity and reality of life.
