It’s official. There will be no second season of the Life Sentence TV show on The CW. Star Lucy Hale has confirmed the Life Sentence cancellation. Check out her statement, below. Last week, the series’ fate briefly echoed the journey of her character, Stella Abbott. After we reported Life Sentence was cancelled, creator Richard Keith informed us there was still life in the old gal yet, and that the cancellation or renewal decision would be made this week. Although the network has finally sounded the death knell, there is still some good news. There are six episodes left in season one, and the finale is scheduled for June 15th.
A CW Y/A series, Life Sentence stars Lucy Hale, Dylan Walsh, Gillian Vigman, Brooke Lyons, Carlos PenaVega, Jayson Blair, and Elliot Knight. The dramedy centers on Stella. After a lethal cancer diagnosis, she spent eight years living her life like any dying young woman might. Once she learns she’s been cured, Stella must return to living like someone with a whole life ahead of her and help her loved ones to do the same.

The last episode made me ball my eyes out and then I cried for another hour when I found out the show was canceled! This show was so inspiring and so different from any other show I’ve seen. It had and amazing storyline with so much packed into it; life lessons, twists, revealing history & connections, and drama, but not too much. This show was more than just a show, it sparked emotion in me and hit important topics in the world and everyday life. Truly inspiring. Please bring it back.

I came upon this show by accident and I fell in love with the characters. Was hoping for more episodes but was saddened to hear the show was cancelled.

We started watching on Netflix after the show had already been. We love it! Such a good story with great characters. Like the combination of drama and comedy So disappointed to find out it is cancelled. Really think another network or streamline should take it on. Maybe Netflix or Hulu?

How in the world can you cancel this show? It’s amazing! What needs to change is the advertisements for the show. I’ll admit it did not look that appealing, but it’s a beautiful show with heart and meaning, love and loss. Try again. Show the spark it has when advertising it.
I literally binged watched this show on netflix and completely fell in love with the story. I recommended it to some of my friends and family only to find out its cancelled… Really just really!!! Can someone just make up an episode to see what happens with wes and stella and Dr Grant.. Really disappointed with the decision

On my second time watching Life Sentence series, thinking how hard it will be to wait for new episodes, especially after the last. Just finding out this terrible news that it was cancelled. How can that be?! The cast and storyline is just amazing. Maybe another network will pick it up?

I just finished season 1 of life sentence. It has to be renewed. This is the best show I’ve seen in a while. There has to be a season 2. I’m not the type to watch it on tv because I like to binge watch it all at once on Netflix!!! This cannot be cancelled
