Miss Frizzle and the gang are back. CinemaBlend reports Netflix has ordered a reboot of The Magic School Bus titled The Magic School Bus 360.
The original animated series followed Miss Frizzle, an eccentric teacher who educates her students about a variety of subjects using her magic school bus. The PBS show aired for four seasons between 1994 and 1997.
Little has been revealed about the reboot so far, but voice actor Stu Stone (Ralphie) revealed some of the original cast will be back:
It’s a very top secret field trip that Miss Frizzle is taking the kids on. I’m a little bit old to be in the fifth grade, so I’m not here to say that I’m officially in Miss Frizzle’s class, but I will say that I went to the classroom and I saw some of my old classmates there. I also ran into some new kids–there’s a lot of new kids and generations on the show. Just like the original series when Miss Frizzle has friends, they were usually voiced by celebrities. There are tons of cameos, I know that there are big stars that want to be involved in this.”
Netflix has not yet announced the details or the premiere date for The Magic School Bus 360.
What do you think? Do you remember The Magic School Bus? Will you check out the reboot?
