It looks like Mayans MC is starting over. Deadline reports FX’s Sons of Anarchy spin-off pilot will undergo a reshoot and recasting.
Set after the events of Sons of Anarchy, the drama centers “on the struggles of EZ Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border.”
It’s unclear what roles will be recast. Previously, the cast included Raymond Cruz, Edward James Olmos, John Ortiz, and Clayton Cardenas. Additionally, Norberto Barba will now direct and executive produce the FX pilot.
