Could Narcos be ending soon? Star Wagner Moura recently revealed that season two of the Netflix series will end with Pablo Escobar’s death, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The drama follows the rise and fall of Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (Moura) and his Medllin Cartel. The cast also includes Boyd Holbrook, Pedro Pascal, Joanna Christie, and Maurice Compte.
On a recent episode of Chelsea, Moura said the new season will only cover one month:
It’s all about Pablo on the run. It’s from the day Pablo escapes to his death.”
Does this mean Narcos will end after season two? So far, Netflix has not announced anything about the show ending. Season two of Narcos premieres on September 2nd.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Narcos? Do you want a third season?
The show is called “Narcos”, not “Escobar”. The death of Escobar doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t continue with other characters. They could tell the story of El Chapo, or Frank Lucas, or focus on an entire cartel instead of one specific character. Did you think Fargo would end with the death of Billy Bob Thornton’s character? Narcos can endure as an anthology series where stories last two or more seasons instead of one.
I don’t think that correct statement because Fargo win Emmy best limit series that why continue it with him. But think really is cancelled that regular show.
I’m not sure I understood what you said but the fact is that Fargo is an ongoing series, not limited, and a season 3 is planned for next year: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802850/
Cancelled in the same way that the Lord of the Rings films were cancelled after 3 movies? I was surprised they managed to stretch Escobar’s life out to 2 series. Happy but surprised.
