TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
Oh please don’t cancel another good show. My sons and I look forward to watching on Wednesdays. Now I bet your going to bring on more of the same shows that have the same story lines we see on other channels. Thought this station was better then the rest but I guess not.
I can’t believe they are cancelling this……so pissed off right now!
DON’T CANCEL!!!!
NBC needs to have season after the power is turned back on!
I was hoping nbc was going to have season after they tuned the power on!
nbc, drops all the good shows. wonders why ratings drop!!!
KEEP REVOLUTION
I was hoping NBC was going to get around to turning the electricity back on, that would be a season or two of scripts!
someone must have been payed off that is the only thing i could think of for it being cancled
It’s really sad these days when they cancel a show like Revolution. My whole family likes it from 68 down to 25, appeals to multiple generation mix. There is less & less appealing shows that we watch more HBO, STARZ, SHO, they have movies & great series. Try finding a good show to watch on a Saturday night, there is nothing across the board except DaVinci’s Demons. I am down to watching History, Nature, or cooking channels . Why not move some shows over to there and capture ratings. But when ABC. NBC or CBS all try to fight for… Read more »
Please don’t cancel this show. It is the only show we faithfully watch each week. All the of the tv shows, for the most part, are trash. I am so sick of so called comedy shows that are plain stupiD analog ridicuousreality shows. DONT cancel Revolution
Omg!!! You people always cancel the best shows..how stupid can you be???
Don’t cancel. Our entire family looks forward to watching it every week!
We all have shows we hate to see cancelled. The networks are a mixed bag when it comes to making these decisions. They should have the decency to at least have a finale which fulfills the need to close the story well. I don’t see how NBC can do that with REVOLUTION. NBC,, give this some thought, please.
Bring back revolution!!!
I love this show don’t cancel it
