TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
This is an exciting and interesting story line to this show. If you cancel this series, I hope some other channel will pick it up.
Please bring this show back. It is hard when you get attached to a show and then it is cancelled and other crazy shows are kept on. Please bring it back.
Someone finaly comes up with a New fresh idea and not just a take on the same old junk. Althogh there are logical flaws, in the story, It was worth watching, and I looked forward to it every week. It is 1000% better than the fake “reality” mindless junk, that never seems to get canceled, and goes on and on, like a bottomess quagmire of no talent boredom.
My husband and I watched the series from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are very disappointed that it has been cancelled. We would love to see it continue for another season or longer. We need to see Miles and his team win the war and restore balance and electrical power to the world.

Revolution was a smart, creative series with incredible stories, plots and acting. My absolute favorite tv show! I guess the only thing ill watch now is baseball.
I love this show. Please don’t cancel this show
Revolution is the greatest story of our time and the future – it is a combined soap opera, drama, comedy, love story, action, adventure – it has it all. The cast is out of this world crazy good. Love this show – someone needs to save it.
I guess I’m not surprised. There seems to be a lack of good leadership at the top levels of network TV in the past decade or more. There’s a definite track record that when a show is TOO good, has TOO MUCH intelligence and quality–has such a big following that it demands money be spent on it that might result in the show making a few less million dollars than the execs are comfortable with–it gets axed and replaced with inexpensive, uncreative, nearly-mindless short-term “plug in” shows until the next Genius Hit happens to come along. Sad, sad, sad. Do… Read more »
Love Love Love this show – how can you cancel.
You have to be crazy to cancel this great show with great actors and good story. If you want to cancel why not cancel all this reality crap that is damaging peoples mind by wasting time on that bs.End the show with class.
ARE YOU CRAZY!!!! DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW, P L E A S E!!!:(
Do not cancel Revolultion. It is a really good show. You cannot end it that way leaving everyone hanging on to what is going to take place next. You need to run it for another season and finish what you started.
Just like most series that are pretty good……they cancel them but some POS shows about killing gators, cutting down trees or a family of inbreds living in a swamp living on craw dads & Shine will stay on for a decade. What’s wrong with the networks?
Please do not allow this intelligent show to be cancelled. I am to the point of only watching cable television because the networks have cancelled any quality shows. You need to realize that viewers want more than ridiculous reality tv and inane sitcoms. You’re turning this country into idiots. Please reconsider your decision and give Revolution another chance!
Revolution is one of the best shows NBC have aired to date. The cancellatipm of revolution is due to the time slot at 8 p.m. and people DVR recording It. It is a huge mistake for MDC the cancel the show. I will no longer be watching NBC. ABC took over as the best channel.
