TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I can’t believe this show is being cancelled. I agree that at least there needs to be one more show to wrap it all up. With all of the crap on TV today, this is the one to get the boot…..but let’s have another “reality show” with to marry someone off or see who can eat the most worms, because that’s real entertainment! Very sad Fan.
I was so into this show & couldn’t wait for next season…now I’m hearing it’s canceled? Why? I hate to even get into new shows anymore for this exact reason. I will stick with the singing shows like The Voice…at least it doesn’t leave me hanging!!
Revolution is one of the few shows I look forward to seeing and record so I can go back and review previous shows. This show should be renewed for 2 more years.
The only show I can’t wait for every week and I truly love is about to quit airing. why? Why? Why? The plot is awesome and now you have left viewers up in the air.
My wife Joan and I watched Revolution. Pure SciFi and pure entertainment. Excellent acting and story lines. Why cancel such a wonderful platform for multiple story lines.
This is so terrible just when they have a hit they fix it! This not good bring revolution back
Loved Revolution. Wish they would get another season.
Everytime I discover a new show that I want to watch it is cancelled. I thought due to the creator of this series I would get a conclusion. Alas again I am let down. Revolution is full of great acting and mostly great writing. Please renew revolution.

Me and my husband love this show.We started watching it on netflix and have been waiting for the newest episodes to come out,and we would be watching on the regular tv night but we are between seasons.I hope you continue the show,it’s very entertaining.
Pleeeeeease don’t leave us hanging lime that!!! Give it one more season, try an off month season like Walking Dead or Hell On Wheels. Atleast give us a 2hr conclusion finale. Fantastic show and shouldnt end that way…. We wanna know what happens with everyone!!
I think it should be renewed. It seems that every time you start watching a new show networks decide to cancel them. Bring the show back. Please….
Keep this show going to a logical conclusion!!!!! I’m a old techie(another term for ‘nerd’)and am used to having my electronic and electrical gadgets always available but I am equally comfortable in the great outdoors fending for myself with nothing but a few basic tools. This show speaks to both those sides of me and I would love to see it continue.
I hope someone changes their mind and there will be another season. This is one if the shows I look forward to watching. Please bring it back.
Please do not cancel!!!!
