A single-camera comedy, The Last Man on Earth follows the life and adventures of an average guy from 2020. After a deadly virus has swept the planet, Phil Miller (Will Forte) is all alone. He used to be just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job — now he’s humanity’s last hope. Is he truly alone?

This show is extremely good. Just got finished watching all episodes. It really shows how a person would really act in that situation. Nothing was over exaggerated at all. I would be honestly fine with it ending at season one. That was a good ending. This kind of comedy isn’t for everyone tho so I can see why the ratings would be low. I hope they make a season 2 . I started off loving this show, but even though I like her and her character, as soon as January Jones arrived, the show nosedived. Phil, who was at one time a very lovable character, turned into an absolute ass hat. The concept that everyone on the planet is gone seems ripe with comic possibilities, but they seemed to have completely abandoned that and just stick with Phil lying constantly and poorly in order to get laid. Did the original writers all die of a virus after the first couple of episodes?
I am a woman and I absolutely love this show! I watch it weekly with my sister and my best girl friend. The men in my household love this show too! If you know funny, you will love this show!
I really like this show because it leaves me on the edge of my seat after every episode, and because of this I look forward to watching it every week. I love the characters and am looking forward to seeing where Carol and Phil end up in season two. I just hope that Phil doesn’t screw it up again. But doesn’t that make it interesting?
The worst show on tv. Started out funny but with the instant addition of characters without developing the characters is plain old stupid. The fat jokes thrown out at Todd were really in bad taste. Phil is an ******* whiney *****. Yes he’s been alone for three years and he’s lost his social skills but come on at least make him not a complete douche bag. The new phil miller is an *******. carol is a ***** too. Lighten up or be gone!
I agree 100%. Phil: his character is not funny, a complete whiner, limited intelligence, cannot speak the truth. How can you be “the last man on earth” when you are with five other people? The show started out as funny, but jumped the shark around episode four.
Love the show. I want the “real” Phil to win. I’m happy it has been renewed. I did get confused at the end though – was it all a halucination or is the guy in the space station Phil’s brother? Whatever, I want to see more!

OMG… this show is crap! ughhhhh…. so I’m so embarrassed for this guy, played by Will Forte, who, every week, does every stupid thing in the world to try and get laid. And Carol… makes my skin crawl. I can’t believe its going for a second season.

What are you guys talking about? This show is terrible! I’ve watched most of these episodes because my daughter watches it thinking it’s some sort of apocalypse show. It’s not. Everything in the show is based on sex, whether he’s doing it to himself or foregoing his “marriage” because he wants every other woman that arrives.
Then after 10 episodes of that crap, a black guy shows up and has sex with ALL the women in one episode. Seriously? Freaking annoying and retarded at best!

He didn’t have sex with all of them dumbass. He created a clean water supply so the girls could take showers since they haven’t had a warm one in a long time. Pay attention before you say something to make the show look bad.
This show has me laughing so hard, it’s hilarious. I think Carol’s crazy lines and antics with ‘the scene ‘ with the new Phil were literally groundbreaking for a network comedy. Will Forte never disappoints, and is always ridiculous. I really hope they keep it going for many more seasons
Wow being a woman and watching Phil is the worst in the best way. I love to hate this show and I love to hate his character. I can’t stop watching! So funny! ..”no Phil!!, you IDIOT!” …I yell at Phil through my tv. You just can’t help but watch.
Love this show! it is witty … good story line .. original.. I love Will Forte and jason sudakis…. and Melissa and Will Forte are dating in real life.. that is crazy… right?!

I absolutely love this show, and I would hate to see it end. Please renew it! Maybe add a kid to the series?! Idk anything to “mix it up” for those haters…either way I’ll always watch, it’s the one show I really look forward to on Sunday nights, and hate it when it ends.
