Whether the show was funny or not, the ratings were horrendous. Disagree with Fox all u want, if u don’t perform, u are out

This show was, initially, funny. But, it became nothing but a series of insider jokes with a revolving cast of characters. The women were stupid, vain, vulgar or lazy. The men were clever, funny and adventurous. Mindy was supposed to be a smart woman, but she was so very shallow that I cringed watching her more than laughed.

I think season 3 of The Mindy Project was the best. It’s like the show finally found its legs and it definitely showed in the quality of the writing. I really hope someone picks it up, if only for a final season, so that it had the proper conclusion to the story. Way to pull a fast one Syndication Gods.

Thought this show was kind of stupid when it first premiered. Mindy riding her bike into the pool drunk was cringe-worthy. But it began to develop nicely and over time became a sharp and sassy must-watch. I found season three the best ever as it earned a priority rating on my DVR. FOX really jumped the shark by cancelling this program just as Mindy Kaling is just beginning to become a household word. Remember Family Guy?

Amusing show, Mindy is a talented comedy actress and writer! Good cast surprised it had low ratings. However with that said not the funniest show on tv but up there on fox line up!

I was never a Mindy Kaling fan before, but I LOVED this show! Great ensemble, snappy writing, ridiculously entertaining. I agree with others, though. My cable bill is already over $200 a month, and I also have Netflix. I can’t see paying even more to add Hulu as well. Elizabeth, I thought Surviving Jack was hysterical, too. Shame it couldn’t survive Fox’s predictably crappy management. Firefly, anyone?

I think Mindy Kaling is cut I never could get into the show. I won’t miss it but I hope the fans of it get a second chance and good luck.

🙁 This was my favourite show. Hopefully if it gets picked up by Hulu or another non-traditional network, it can explore various options, get a little riskier, etc.

Yeah, I think Hulu is safer for this show because there is something wrong with FOX having a hard time hanging onto this show.

Glad fox has axed the sick show, which isn’t,t funny, now if they see spence they would bring back red band?

Mindy Kaling is one of the best comedy writers, she wrote some of the best episodes of the office and she’s popular right now. Hopefully that hype will help give this show another chance. It’s had its bright moments.

I disagree with FOX as usual. We liked The Mindy Project! FOX always cancels good, actually funny sitcoms all the time. One comment is correct about hardly any advertising. There was not any advertising for the HILARIOUS sitcom Surviving Jack, which FOX cancelled. It was also played in between some random shows in 9:30 time slot. I can’t stand FOX for the most part anymore. We RARELY watch FOX anymore because of their choices.

Okay, I’m bummed! I really liked the show. I enjoy Mindy’s sense of humor but I’m not going to pay to watch it on Hulu. I pay enough for satellite TV as it is.

Yes, I want The Mindy Project on any channel that would pick it up. I’m surprised that it isn’t a higher rated show as it is very funny and the characters seem like real people.

This show is as funny as any comedy on any network. I would watch it wherever or whoever picks it up. Enough with those realality showes.
