Stop, in the name of the law. The Traffic Cops TV show on BBC One has been cancelled after 14 series (seasons). Digital Spy reports UK Channel 5 will pick up the program for series 15 (season 15). The Traffic Cops TV series is hosted by Jamie Theakston.
Digital Spy says:
[If] you’re a fan of the long-running show, don’t worry, as you’ll be able to watch a fresh run on Channel 5 – and they’re promising you’ll see a lot more of host Jamie Theakston, who is sticking with the programme, in an “expanded on-air role”.
“Traffic Cops has a huge following as one of the most successful police access shows on TV and it’s a real thrill to bring the brand to Channel 5,” said its factual commissioning editor Guy Davies.
What do you think? Should the Traffic Cops TV series be cancelled or renewed? Will you watch the 15th season on Channel 5?
