While mostly known for his work in movies, Ryan Phillippe drew positive reviews for his work in ABC’s Secrets and Lies TV show (a series that was renewed for a second season, despite low ratings). How will Shooter, his new USA Network series, do in the ratings? Will it be a hit? Will Shooter be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
The Shooter TV show revolves around expert marksman Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe). He’s retired and living in exile but is coaxed back into action for what seems like the most important mission of his lifetime. A sniper threatens to assassinate the President and Swagger soon finds himself the patsy in a massive conspiracy. Can he clear his name? The rest of the cast includes Shantel VanSanten, Omar Epps, Eddie McClintock, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Tembi Locke, David Marciano, and Sean Cameron Michael.
The ratings are typically the best sign of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
