Amazon has renewed their political comedy Alpha House for a second season but the Betas series won’t be coming back. The Silicon Valley-based TV show has been cancelled.
Of the decision, Amazon Studios director Roy Price said, “Unfortunately you have to make tough decisions… I’d love to figure out something else for Betas.”
Betas follows four friends who are trying to strike it rich by finding investors for their new dating app. The cast includes Joe Dinicol, Karan Soni, Jon Daly, Charlie Saxton, Maya Erskine, Madeline Zima, Tyson Ritter, Breeda Wool, Mark L. Young, and Ed Begley, Jr.
A pilot and 10 episodes of the series were produced. The pilot was released on April 19, 2013 and the final episode was made available on January 17, 2014.

I really liked this Show. Why was it Cancelled? I’m really Tired of Finding Shows like this one only to Find out there will be No Season 2,3,4,etc… Then I see where the Crappiest Shows run for 5-10 Seasons. I Vote you Fire the Person who Cancelled BETAS, then Hire someone with Taste to Start Filming Season 2. But what do I know !!! I’m only an Amazon Prime Member for over 4 years Now. Similar to Silicone Valley, which is one of the best shows on TV. Should not have cancelled. Great Cast

I’m a fan of this show even though I clicked over it for months. Good ensemble, made me care about these young folk. More story to tell, very sorry to see them go.
