It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

Love this show. With all the stupid reality shows, this one was different and fun. Why are all the good shows being cancelled!!!
This was one of the best shows on TV. Loved the comedy. Please reconsider NBC.

Honestly, I’m reluctant to invest my time watching any of the new shows coming out, especially on @nbc. VERY DISAPPOINTED in their cancellation of Timeless, Code Black and now Better Late Than Never!!

Whose NOT SO BRIGHT idea was this anyway? I was looking forward to another FUN season with the guys & thought this update would be telling us NEW premiere date. Cancelled??? BLTN was a GREAT show, perfect blend of quirky & crazy personalities, travel, etc. Someone really bombed in cancelling this.

It is a good clean show but tv followers want drama and catastrophes. Very sad. Last tv show I can remember where I waited every week for new episodes. SUCKS
