The border has been closed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX has cancelled their new animated series Bordertown.
Set on the United States-Mexico border, the comedy centered on two families—the Buckwalds and the Gonzalezes. The voice cast included Hank Azaria, Alex Borstein, Judah Friedlander, Nicholas Gonzalez, and Missi Pyle.
Currently nearing the end of its first season, Bordertown has not fared well in the ratings. So far, the show has only received an average of .75 in the 18-49 demo and 1.788 million viewers.

Left us on a clif hanger it was a great show … Renew it I’ve been waiting for more episodes on Netflix but guess it’ll never happen
Okay this was a funny show…damn I’ve been waiting for another season just to find out they wont be making another? Fox really does like canceling good shows. Like Futurama, man the excets should re evaluate what is good. Their poor decisions on canceling funny shows is tiring esp since they don’t really give them a ending either…just cliff hang and cancel.
I believe that Bordertown should have not been cancelled. The satire of the show was great! The one episode where Gonzalez talks about, where there will be more Mexicans than white folks in America. And how this will make the white folks the minority, he was really sparking the truth. I just don’t understand. FOX, the “Christian” producers for FOX channel’s, take Bordertown off the air and put on Bless their Harts. Bordertown was great! It made a mockery of the boarder patrol, and a doofus that watched an open dessert plain. Bring back Bordertown!!
