CBS officially announced their schedule for Fall 2018 earlier today. Now, the Tiffany Network has released “first look” trailers for their six “new” shows — three comedies and three dramas.
They are FBI, God Friended Me, Happy Together, Magnum PI, Murphy Brown (not exactly new but…), and The Neighborhood.
First Look At Happy Together on CBS
Damon Wayans Jr. and Amber Stevens West star in a comedy about a 30-something happily married couple who begin to reconnect with their younger, cooler selves when Cooper (Felix Mallard), an exuberant young pop star drawn to their super ordinary suburban life, unexpectedly moves in with them. Watch this Fall on CBS.
First Look At Magnum P.I. on CBS
This is a modern take on the classic series and stars Jay Hernandez as Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii. https://www.cbs.com/shows/magnum-pi/ Watch this Fall on CBS.
First Look At FBI on CBS
From Emmy Award-winner Dick Wolf and the team behind the Law & Order franchise comes a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. These first-class agents, including Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and her partner, Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), bring all their talents, intellect and technical expertise to tenaciously investigate cases of tremendous magnitude, including terrorism, organized crime and counterintelligence, in order to keep New York and the country safe. Watch this Fall on CBS.
First Look At Murphy Brown on CBS
As we move toward the series’ 30th anniversary, the revival will offer fans a look at how Murphy Brown (Candice Bergen) tackles the current state of cable news, clickbait, and a very different political and cultural climate. Original cast members Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, and Grant Shaud will also reprise their roles as Corky Sherwood, Frank Fontana and Miles Silverberg, respectively. In addition, actor Jake McDorman will go head-to-head with star Candice Bergen (Brown) as her son, Avery, a millennial journalist who followed in his mother’s headline-making footsteps. However, the traits they have in common – like a competitive spirit and quick wit – might be the same things that cause friction between the two. Watch this Fall on CBS.
First Look At The Neighborhood on CBS
Here’s a comedy about what happens when the friendliest guy in the Midwest moves his family (the Johnsons) to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone looks like him – or appreciates his extreme neighborliness. Cedric the Entertainer stars as Calvin Butler, the Johnsons’ opinionated next-door neighbor, who is wary of the newcomers, and certain that the Johnsons will disrupt the culture on the block. Watch this Fall on CBS.
First Look At God Friended Me on CBS
Brandon Micheal Hall stars in a humorous, uplifting drama about Miles Finer (Hall), an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from God and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him. Watch this Fall on CBS.
