Mira Sorvino has landed a role on in a new AT&T drama. She has joined Max Irons in Condor, which is based on the novel titled, Three Days of the Condor, written by Sydney Pollack.
Deadline reported the following about Sorvino’s role on the AT&T Audience Network drama:
“Condor follows Joe Turner (Irons), a young CIA analyst whose idealism is tested when he stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions. Sorvino will play Marty Frost, an investigator who has come out of retirement to take over the investigation after an attack at Joe’s office.”
A premiere date has not yet been set for the 10-episode drama. Do you plan to check out Condor? Tell us what you think.
Sounds like a sure fire winner. So glad to see Mira Sorvino back on the screen.
Will check it out as the movie was very good, as was the book. I always look forward to seeing Mira anytime.
Huge fan of the movie! Cold War intrigue with a twist. Robert Redford as the analyst did an excellent job of humanizing the character. Max von Sydow did the same job even better with his characterization of the not-so-cold-blooded assassin. Wonder if Mira is the updated role that Faye Dunaway filled. Always wondered how long it would take someone to convert it to TV drama. I’ll be curious how they spin the plot to meet today’s political situation. Hope they don’t muck up the characters. Very much looking forward to seeing the show.
Yes – love Mira and Max and Three Days!
I loved the movie starting Robert Redford and will be looking for this TV drama.
