What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. This season, Shemar Moore guest stars. The series follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Season 13 Ratings
The 13th season of Criminal Minds averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.73 million viewers. Compared to season 12, that’s down by 29% and down by 23%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.
Telly’s Take
Although the ratings slipped some last season, CBS still renewed Criminal Minds for a 13th season. It premiered with lower numbers than last season and the ratings have dropped quite a bit lower. To be honest, I think this show’s fate will all come down to money and contracts. I suspect that there will be a 14th and final season. I’ll update this page with any updates. I would be kind of upset about it because bad enough CSI is gone!
I would love to see a 14th season of CM with Thomas Gibson reinstated in the cast. Get rid of the writer and keep Gibson. Even without him the show is consistent. Please renew this show.

I agree with you Joseph as loved Hotch am sure they could have worked it out and if not sad the writer they could easy get another excellent writer but there is only one Thomas Gibson also miss Derek Morgan but know he is in a new tv drama shame he can’t do both.
I would love there to be a 14th series as have watched every episode since it started many times over there is no other TV show like it.

Gibson pretty much burnt that bridge, which is why we was written out. I’d be extremely surprised if he came back.

I would like to see Criminal Minds return for season fourteen. The show is exciting and interesting. The stories are always good and so are the actors. I miss seeing Thomas Gibson.
would love to see a 14th season. this mixed up personnel venue right now is not among my favorite scenarios; but I truly like the show. The cast now is working well together & has good charisma with each other. DO NOT CANCEL!!

I love this show!! I absolutely want this show to continue to be renewed and I love the direction in which they are taking the plot! The storyline is great how they keep in kind of in the background while making small stories/cases in each episode! My favorite tv show of all time for sure!

I learned alot in this show please don’t cancel it it does’nt matter if Aaron Hotchner will be back or not what matters is continue to teach us how to deal with those kinds of criminals pls pls don’t cancel it.

If they bring back Thomas Gibson, I hope for renewal. A lot of avid fans of Mr. Gibson believe in his presence on the show. It is totally flopping without Aaron Hotchner at the helm. There is nothing about that show is the same since they suspended/fired him. Hotch, JJ, Penelope, Rossi, Reid, and nowTara & Luke, made the show. CBS & ABC don’t care what the fans want, obviously. I stopped watching the show last season. The ratings keep going down but I do think there will be a season 14. I think the show will keep going until it’s completely trashed.
love love love this show. If they ever cancel it I will never watch ion again. I am so addicted to this show. HAve never missed an episode and some 2 or 3 times. Morgan REALLY hated to see him leave the show what a hottie.
Ion carries it in syndication, not first run…..so even if it is cancelled on CBS (I hope not), Ion will still carry it.
I love this show. I look forward to it every week, and I’d be severely disappointed if they didn’t renew it. I do wish, though, that they would tone down Garcia a little bit. Her quirkiness was adorable for the first 10 seasons but over the past couple of seasons it’s annoying me and I feel it’s harmful to the character. And what’s with the schmattas on her head EVERY episode? 🙂 On the other hand, she adds loads of value to the show and I’m certainly not looking for her to be gone. Oh hell yes we need another season life without wound be boring to many of our shows are being discontinued!
If that horrible woman stays on the show well never watch it again.

I agree this new woman is terrible and an awful way to end the show or if she is to stay we will not watch either otherwise love the show
