What’s This TV Show About?
A Syfy space opera, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The science fiction drama series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Dark Matter averaged a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 608,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 13% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Dark Matter stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.
Telly’s Take
Season three premiered with mediocre numbers but the ratings for Dark Matter have remained pretty consistent. Syfy seems to believe in the program since they added an after show — After Dark — this season. Dark Matter also airs on the Space channel in Canada, so its fate largely depends on its success north of the border. I suspect that we will see a fourth season. Please add a 4th season! I hate being left hanging
I have watched this series from the start. Come on, sy fy, you were supposed to be going back to your roots, this is as back as you can get. It may have been uneven at Times but the crew of the Raza is engaging. You keep doing this, It’s a decent show, it deserves a better end.

Why are all the good shows worth watching getting cancelled? This is why nobody watch tv anymore, they keep canceling all the good shows.
I want a season 4 very badly. This is one of the only shows i’ve ever been hooked on.
Its a real shame that the show was cancelled. All seasons had good story lines and the cast was amazing. I hope somehow a revived season 4 or a mini series can be produced for all the fans. This series had every potential to be a Big Hit !
wow.. not right …. why cant another net work or even netflix pick this up.. this is a good show. Cliffhangers like this are not fair to the loyal ones. at least give us an ending.
Seriously? Yet another great show cancelled by SyFy. Im really starting to dislike that network. They renewed Killjoys, which is also preety decent mind you but not as good as Dark Matter IMO, and kill this amazing show. I hope Netfix or some other network have what it takes and renew this show at some point, although probably unlikely sadly
I would very much appreciate a fourth season of this interesting show. Both the stories and the characters are worth our attention. Very professionally done, in my opinion.
I enjoyed this show and liked the actors and the acting along with the interesting and curious plot lines. I hope Dark Matter will not be permanently canceled. There are too few good science fiction shows available today.

This series is a must watch… the diversity and creativity of the script gives definition to syfy. It would be definitely distributing and disappointing that the show cease. I vote YES, make a 4th series…. and YES.. watch all three.. slow start but after episode five, season one you’ll be hooked. Grab a bowl of popcorm, let the journey begin…

The loss of this series is tragic. We were about to see invasion of an alien species and likely need to unify the galaxy! Cancellation is horribly disappointing
