Do you watch Designated Survivor? Recently, we reported the ABC TV series might be getting a season two renewal. If it does, will you keep watching?
The political thriller follows Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland), a lower-level Cabinet member, who ends up becoming the President of the United States after an attack on the capital. The cast also includes Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, Tanner Buchanan, Kal Penn, and Maggie Q.
Designated Survivor premiered in September to a strong 2.24 rating in the 18-49 demo and 10.037 million viewers. And while the numbers have declined, the show is still a consistent performer for ABC. Currently, the series is averaging a 1.35 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.203 million viewers.

This is the number one show in our household! It’s better than Gotham better than anything else on TV! It’s very solid show with Kiefer Sutherland leading but super role players! Please keep the show!
I would watch a season 10! This is our favourite show and gets watched immediately after taping on the DVR. My wish: That Kiefer would bring his real mom – Shirley Douglas – onto the show as his mother to live with the family in the White House to help care for the kids so his wife can take a posting as Sec. of Immigration or White House Counsel. Carrie, I could’nt agree MORE!!!! Season 10 would be FANTASTIC! But for now renewcanceltv.com has been reporting that ABC has given Designated Survivor a season 2 so I’ll be content with that …for now…

Please keep this show on the air! It is positively riveting! I just discovered it on Netflix and binge watched the whole thing. Just watched the 13th episode last night and was upset when it was over. This is a taut, smart, political thriller with a great cast. There is so much stupid content out there undeserving of airtime, keep something on for people who have some semblance of an intellect. THANK YOU!

I will watch it because it is close to what our current government is trying to do what the people want and not the politicians want for themselves
I will most definitely keep watching “Designated Survivor” for three reasons. (1) I like Kiefer Sutherland. (2) The premiere episode was almost exactly like the Tom Clancy novel “Executive Order”. I’ve been following the show to see how much it follows the novel. I don’t see Tom Clancy’s name mentioned in the credits for the show. I’m really surprised that ABC can get away without acknowledging him. My husband I love this show. The actors are great and the story is gripping.

I watched it up to its break and since it came back on I haven’t seen it. Sometimes those “Breaks” in the middle of a season can really take the wind out of the sails of a TV show. Look what happened to the show a couple of years ago on NBC, Revolution. It went from top 10 to being canceled because they waited so long for its new season to start people became interested in other new shows.
