Would you watch a Dharma & Greg reunion? Recently, star Jenna Elfman spoke with Access Hollywood about a possible revival for the ABC TV series.
From Chuck Lorre and Dottie Dartland, the sitcom followed Dharma Finkelstein (Elfman), a free spirit who marries Greg Montgomery (Thomas Gibson), an uptight lawyer. The cast also included Joel Murray, Mimi Kennedy, Alan Rachins, Mitchell Ryan, and Susan Sullivan. The series premiered in 1997 and ran for five seasons before ending in 2002.
When asked if she’d join a Dharma & Greg 20-year reunion, Elfman said yes:
I know, I had a great time. I would show up on that set any day.”
Later, Elfman revealed that there are no current plans for a revival, but she is interested:
I called like last year some time or a year and a half ago or something, I called to say “Hey guys, should we get back together?” But he [Thomas Gibson] was still doing ‘Criminal Minds’ and it wasn’t an option. I’m here, doing this show [‘Imaginary Mary’].”

I say YES to revamping Dharma & Greg sitcom. However, if Greg’s mother, Kitty Montgomery (Susan Sullivan) and Dharma’s quirky friend Jane (Shae D Lyn) aren’t included, I would be a little disappointed. Also, I really liked the neighbor Donald, who was played by JD Walsh. My favorite episode, season 2, ” Like Dharma’s Totally Got a Date”, when Dharma agrees to go to the homecoming dance with Donald is hilarious. Jane & Dharma go dress shopping at the mall; this skit cracked me up! Too funny!

I would love to see them reunite. It would be great to see Thomas do comedy again, and the two of them had great chemistry.

If they cancel Jenna’s new show, they should make this happen. I’m sure Gibson isn’t doing anything at the moment.

I loved the show. I would definately watch the reunion show. It’d be fantastic if they revived the show for a new round of seasons. There are so many options for a re-newed series.

I loved Dharma and Greg and would definitely watch if it came back on the air. Do not care for Jenna’s new show. Watched a few minutes and that was enough for me.
