Do you watch MacGyver? The CBS TV series is gearing up for its season one finale, which airs tonight, April 14th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show has already been renewed for a second season, but will you watch?
A reboot of the classic ’80s show, the action drama centers on a twenty-something adventurer named Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) who creates a secret organization within the US government. The cast also includes George Eads, Sandrine Holt, Tristin Mays, and Justin Hires.
Recently, star Tristin Mays teased the upcoming season finale to The Wrap. In the interview, she revealed the finale provides a “wake up call” for her character that may influence her future in season two:
I think that she needs to kind of be ready for what’s to come. This season finale gives her a wake up call … For her future, some more training, maybe some weapons.
My character gets very bloody. And you’ll have to watch the show to find out exactly what that means.”
Though the series has already been renewed, the ratings have been dropping over the course of the season. In late March, the program hit a series low with a 0.9 demo rating and 6.56 million viewers. Clearly, some people have stopped watching MacGyver. Are you one of them?

Yes,I really like the show and I will continue to watch it. In the beginning I was not interested as it was not really like the original MacGyver but mid season I gave it a try and I really liked it and hoping that it starts soon. This summer TV has not had much to choose from since I am not a reality TV fan.

Yes my wife and I would definitely watch season two we all ways made the time for the show and enjoyed all of season 1 I mean come on it was left open with merdoc about to escape from the max penatentry .
Definitely excited for season 2 already have my DVR set.
I loved the original and I love the new reboot, its fun, light entertainment
with educational quality.

Having grown up with the original series and loving that, I was a bit wary at first, but it didn’t disappoint. The series has been brought right up to date and I can’t wait for series 2 to start!!!
At first I was not sure about this show, it felt like it was right out of the 80’s but when you consider that the original show was right out of the 80’s I can see why. In any case I think it is a good balance, between some feel of a lot of the older style shows like the original MG, A team, Ripe Tide, knight rider etc. It has that fun vibe, without being quite as cheesy as most 80’s shows come across as having if you watch them today. So yes I will be watching season 2

I definitively will keep watching the show. I have and watch the original series on DVD but love watching the current version as well.
