Do you watch MacGyver? The CBS TV series is gearing up for its season one finale, which airs tonight, April 14th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show has already been renewed for a second season, but will you watch?
A reboot of the classic ’80s show, the action drama centers on a twenty-something adventurer named Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) who creates a secret organization within the US government. The cast also includes George Eads, Sandrine Holt, Tristin Mays, and Justin Hires.
Recently, star Tristin Mays teased the upcoming season finale to The Wrap. In the interview, she revealed the finale provides a “wake up call” for her character that may influence her future in season two:
I think that she needs to kind of be ready for what’s to come. This season finale gives her a wake up call … For her future, some more training, maybe some weapons.
My character gets very bloody. And you’ll have to watch the show to find out exactly what that means.”
Though the series has already been renewed, the ratings have been dropping over the course of the season. In late March, the program hit a series low with a 0.9 demo rating and 6.56 million viewers. Clearly, some people have stopped watching MacGyver. Are you one of them?

A resounding YES I will be watching Season 2. I think it is one of the more enjoyable shows on TV. The acting is great…Lucas Till just gets better and better. The solutions the writers come up with are so innovative, and you just never know what will happen next. The supporting cast is wonderful also..so yes, Thanks CBS for renewing this great show!
I really like the show. Please keep it exciting and creative. I will watch to see how he outwits his adversaries. He uses his brain to vet him out of situations. He is the every man super hero.
I love the show! I just don’t get a chance to watch it the night it shows because of work. So. I buy the season on Vudu and Amazon. Just want to make sure I don’t miss anything and watch all the episodes multiple times. Just keep in mind people have to work or other commitments and that ratings might drop. Doesn’t mean we don’t love it just that real life has to come first. Please give Bozer a shot at a life with Riley.

MacGyver is one of the best series I watch at first I thought would hate it but then I watched it, and I was hooked. I hope they never stop making new seasons cause I can’t wait until the next week to see, and anticipate whats going to happen next. Also whats Mac newest inventions are going to be. Yes, we would watch a 2nd season. We love the cast & how they interact with each other and stories are really interesting. It would be nice to see the original MacGyver in one show.

Typically don’t like remakes; but actually like this more than the original. As an Atlantan; doesn’t hurt that its one of our Georgia made shows.
My family and I Like the show. It’s a show that everyone can watch. We are tired of all the trashy reality shows.
