The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

My husband and I really liked “Game of Silence” and we were so hoping it was coming back. We are highly disappointed to know that a good show was cancelled especially, when you wete excited about how the season was going to turn out. Very disappointed!!
Such a great show! How wrong to cancel. We don’t need any more stupid “reality shows” on the networks. Please bring it back!!

NBC. I am very upset how do you come up with these stupid ratings??? that’s all people were talking about! more action and suspense then Blacklist. I loved Games of silence. get off your high horse and put it back on!! some one grab this show!

I feel bad for David Lyons. Revolution was canceled last year. He stared in that show as well. I liked both shows and watched every week. It stinks when you get into a show and never find out how it ends!!

I just finished watching the final episodes of Game of Silence that I had recorded, only to find out it has been cancelled. I loved that show, it kept me on the edge of my seat!! Very Disappointed that NBC made that decision.
Can’t believe NBC dropped this show. Don’t know how far they could have taken the plot but to cancel after one episode and leave the audience hanging is a real crappy thing to do. Thanks NBC
