A crime drama based on DC Comics characters, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, Cory Michael Smith, David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee, Erin Richards, Camren Bicondova, Drew Powell, Morena Baccarin, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Michael Chiklis, John Doman, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The FOX series explores the early days of then-police detective James Gordon (McKenzie) and iconic Gotham City characters — before they became legends. In season four, Gotham’s infamous criminal scene emerges. It is up to Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Logue) to beat them back, but they are not alone. Bruce Wayne (Mazouz) also begins to take responsibility for his beleaguered city.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. Gotham has really moved away from the good stuff that got me into it.
The pig episode on 10/26 was a low point for me. Not a single moment with Bruce or Alfred, and way too much of the dumb Butch/Grundy side story.
Ratings live&same day up til 3 Am. So thats not a total scope of Gotham viewers&Ratings. Understanding its 2017 and millions of people binge watch their favorite show or at another time on streaming like Hulu,Vudu,Netflix etc and every year Gotham has had a steady 5mil per episode viewership about when you count all those streamer not same day but more like with 48 hours or 7 days.
Gotham should definitely come back for season 5 and 6 its the best Superhero show on tv

I do feel Season 3 towards end is starting to feel like Dawson Creek more than the gritty relationship between the different gangs and villains. I’m still enjoying it, I just don’t want them to focus too long on who is dating who. I’ve yet to see Season 4.
Absolutely love “Gotham” . The story line has captured me and they can go so far with it. I enjoy all the characters and the potential this show has. I would really hate to see it end. These characters are great.

If FOX cancels Gotham without at least a 5th season I will boycott them and NEVER watch another FOX series! And I’ve done it before it was YEARS before I watched ABC after Miracles.
Snellville did 10 season and I’m sure the rating dropped so I’m sure gotham will get a season 5.
Good point. Also, IMO Arrow Season 3 and 4 weren’t the best but bounced back when Deathstroke came back and Prometheus was introduced.

Why are you looking at total viewers? Total viewers don’t matter at all, 18-49 demo does.
