TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Please don’t cancel the series. It is one of my favorites. Cancel some other dumb a** reality show!
PLEASE DONT CANCEL!!! We love this show. One of the few good shows left. Most are garbage!
I was so disappointed that Longmire was cancelled I stopped watching A&E. I plan on getting Netflix if they show Longmire. I loved that series. There isn’t a whole lot of good shows on TV now and it seems like anything worth watching gets cancelled. Please, please get Longmire back!
I was devastated when I heard that Longmire had be cancelled! In all my life (I am 64 years old) I have never bought a DVD series-I have bought seasons one and two of this series. I love the Indian presence in the series and the characters are the best. I sincerely hope that there are more seasons to come and that this series really hasn’t been cancelled.
It needs to be renewed. Too many good shows are being canceled.
Please renew this show. It is one of the few decent shows on TV.
This is the 2nd original series that A & E has cancelled after its 3rd season even though
both had a good share of the television market. Must be that the cost of a 4th season cuts into profits. The dribble they continue to keep ( Storage Wars, Duck Dynasty etc.) must be very cheap. They rerun them into the ground. A & E is a misnomer. There is neither Art or Entrainment left on their station.
please don’t cancel Longmire! One of the best shows on tv.
Just let me know where I can watch this excellent show!
Please, Please DO NOT cancel this series. This is the best series on Television Bar None.
Please do not cancel Longmire. It is one of the better programs on tv. It is different in a way you cannot predict whats going to happen every episode. This is one program I did not miss and thank GOD for DVR.
Great show, please continue working to keep on alive. I am a Netflix Customer and I would defiantly watch every episode.
I can’t believe this show has been canceled. I have been waiting for months to see to what happened next! With all the garbage on television now days, this was a pleasure to watch and anticipate the next episode. Unbelievable!
Are you people nuts. The last episode of Longmire was so good that it had you on the edge of your seat. Where i work everyone was talking about the show and what may of happened. CANT AFFORD NETFLIX OR DIRECTTV. RENEW LONGMIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tired of reality shows .Some people want good tv like LONGMIRE AND THE GLADES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Longmire is one of he best shows on TV. A&E sure knows how to loose viewers when they cancel the best show they have. It is the only one they have that I watched. It is a show that the whole family can watch & enjoy. My wife & I are in our mid 70’s & refuse to watch reality shows. They are scripted & disgusting & unbelievable. We live on a fixed income & can’t afford netflex so A&E has let us down again. Longmire could have had a run as long as Gunsmoke or Bonanza. Was so well… Read more »
I hope this series continues. It seems like if there isn’t edgy scenes in shows these days, the networks want to cancel. This is a family friendly series and the writing is good. Please continue to produce this TV show.
