TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Longmire is a great show, and few shows that are really worth watching. There are so many sows that are so full of curse language that it is hard to watch. this show is full of mystery and excitement. It is good family entertainment and should keep on the air. Hopefully there are enough positive emails that the A&E people will keep it on the air!
RENEWED ABSOLUTELY!!
How can you find fault with a story based in magnificent Wyoming with Katee Sackoff and Kathryn Lanasa in it? This is good theater!
Very excited to hear Longmire has been renewed. I do not currently subscribe to Netflix, but I will now if only to get Longmire. Good Job Netflix.
Longmire is one of the best show on TV. Super Actors with a great story line.
A&E really dropped the ball on this one!! What were A&E top executives thinking or maybe they were not thinking at all!!
I have Netflix and found Longmire. I never saw the earlier episodes and they’re great. A&E made the worst decision by dropping the show. Love the show. The best actors and writing I’ve seen in a long time.
I think the best made, most intelligent ,well written, well acted,
most completely American show I have seen. I found it by accident and had no expectations, but I have not heard a false note. It is fascinating and compelling, gritty, spare and enigmatic. This is and will be a classic. I hope the new sponsors know what they’ve got, and continue it as long as the writers and actors can inhabit this landscape.
please more longmire
bring it back excellent show
Keep longmire on
The biggest mistake that the network would be making is to cancel Longmire!!!!!
It is a true show of suspense, and it has none of the ridiculous characters like vampires
or demons in it, which in itself is refreshing!! Please bring it back
This program is
Really enjoyable. Great plot . Not a lot of ******** vlolence go henery can’t wait for it to start up again.
PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! bring Longmire back to T.V. If not can anther network pickup this show? I turned so many friends on to this show. Please fight for the return of Longmire. PLEASE! THANK YOU!!!! A BIG FAN OF LONGMIRE!!!!
Please bring Longmire back!!! Great show
Longmire is one of the best shows we have seen in several years. It needs to be renewed. I do not understand your reason to cancel. If you think it has poor ratings than that fault is yours for not sufficient advertising. Anyone that finds the show by accident will continue to view it. I understand it might be available on Netflix but I do not know when and I am unable to view it. Please keep – or bring back – Longmire.
Please bring Longmire back. Its real life and not based in New York like so many other shows. Cast is great. Only on Directv. I cant even get internet because I live in country. Please bring back Longmire
I like longmire renew it.
great show .should not be canceled
