Most new TV shows are cancelled after just one season. How’s The CW new series No Tomorrow been doing? Will this TV show “have a tomorrow” and survive to see a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Is it worth watching? Cancel or keep it?
A fantasy romantic comedy series, No Tomorrow revolves around an organized young woman named Evie (Tori Anderson). She starts to look at her life and the world in a very different way thanks to a charming, free-spirit named Xavier (Joshua Sasse). He believes an asteroid will destroy the world in eight months so he lives his life to its fullest. Evie tries to decide if he’s crazy or if that even really matters. The rest of the cast includes Jesse Rath, Amy Pietz, Jonathan Langdon, and Sarayu Blue.
The show premiered on October 4th to a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.51 million viewers. That was a disappointing start, even for a CW series — especially when you consider that its lead-in, The Flash, attracted a 1.26 in the demo with 3.17 million.
The second installment of No Tomorrow plunged about 50%, falling to a 0.25 demo rating with 741,000 viewers. Episode three recovered a bit, rising to a 0.29 rating with 807,000 viewers. It’s now one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
The CW execs have a slightly different criteria than the other networks when deciding which shows will be cancelled or renewed. Still, at this point, it seems very likely that No Tomorrow won’t survive to see a second season.
But, what do you think? Do you enjoy watching the No Tomorrow TV show on The CW? Is it a better show than the ratings would seem to indicate? Cancel or keep it?
No Tomorrow is a delightful show. Very different and enjoyable, please keep it!
Hella good show keep it!!!!
I loooooooove No Tomorrow!!! Keep it!! Pleeeease keep it!!!
I love this show. Please keep it. I’m already looking forward to season 2!!!
Scrap it compared to izombie get rid of it. They put this crap on and pushed izombie back. It’s bullshitting. Period. For a show to be good it needs more then a good looking, it needs personality and be able to be watched over and over, that is a great series. Looks only can get u so far.
Please keep it! We need fun shows like this. The networks are saturated with enough sci-fi and comic related shows.
TRUE. sci-fi or family life related shows are everywhere!!!!
Keep!!!!!! Love the cutie guy!!!
If you get a chance rent the Galavant series (there were only two seasons but it was a complete series) and watch Joshua Sasse in the most entertaining and hilarious show. He is a very gifted singer as well as comic actor.
Keep!!!!
Keep it!!!
What a great show this is! I am hooked! So light and funny, exactly what the world needs these days…
The cast is amazing, I’m really hoping they will renew it for a second season !!!
It is simply, silly fun, with a cozent message – Live in the moment. I am enjoying it. I wish they renew it. The only thing I would suggest is move it earlier slot. Probably, flipping Flash to the later slot would help.
The superhero shows are their bread and butter. No way they are going to muck with their schedules in hopes of saving a very low performing show.
I really enjoyed the first episode, and thought the 2 leads had great chemistry. However, I was really disappointed with the second episode, and thought it devolved into a poorly scripted and somewhat dumb comedy, targeting a young teen audience, which is odd, since they decided to make her 31 in the birthday episode. I honestly don’t think they had a clear vision of where to go with the show. Tonight was the last episode for me. Another CW letdown.
I’ve Enjoyed watching this new tv series.. It’s fun and has something different to offer – other than vampires, demons, zombies, cops and murder shows. I hope it makes it.
I watch it on netflix
LOVE It please keep
I really hope it survives, i really enjoy the show and have a place in my heart for Josh, after his amazing performance in Gaaaaaaaaaalavaaaaaant~
