Queen of the South has some new company. Deadline reports Yancey Arias will star on season two of the USA Network TV show.

The drama revolves a woman who is forced to run and seek refuge in America from a powerful drug cartel. The cast includes Alice Braga, Justina Machado, Hemky Madera, Veronica Falcon, James Martinez, Joaquim de Almeida, Peter Gadiot, Carlos Gomez, Mark Consuelos, and Rafael Amaya.

In season two, Arias will play “Colonel Cortez, a reluctant Epifanio Vargas’s (Joaquim de Almeida) new business partner. A man of war in the Mexican Special Forces, Cortez spent the last two decades battling the cartels, proving himself to be every bit as cunning, ruthless and bloodthirsty as the sicarios he hunted.”

Season two of Queen of the South is expected to premiere on USA Network later this year.
