What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Sense8 stars Doona Bae, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Brian J. Smith, Freema Agyeman, Terrence Mann, Anupam Kher, Naveen Andrews, and Daryl Hannah. The series follows eight people from around the world, who were born on the same day, and share a psychic connection. In the second season, the Sensates — Capheus (Onwumere), Kala (Desai), Lito (Silvestre), Nomi (Clayton), Riley (Middleton) , Sun (Bae), Will (Smith) and Wolfgang (Riemelt) –unite and dive headlong into each other’s lives, as they ponder their existence. Because Whispers (Mann) is hunting them down, the group needs to live together, fathom one another, and defend themselves.
Telly’s Take
Unless Netflix decides to release streaming “ratings” it is always difficult to gauge the success of streaming TV shows, like Sense8, so let’s look at what we do know. The critical response to the first season of Sense8 was mostly positive. We’ll have to wait and see how viewers respond to the second season. After the show’s nearly two years on hiatus, will the audience still care?
While we do know the actors’ contracts lapsed, a couple of months ago Netflix reportedly reached out the core cast for a third season, and was in the process of re-signing them. So, it seems the internet streaming service is eager for me to go hungry, but does P.E.T.A. care? Well, my phone’s not ringing. I can tell you that much. I am very disappointed!! This is one of the best series I’ve watched and I don’t watch many. The diversity is off the charts & it’s exactly what our world needs. PLEASE bring back Sense 8!!!!!
Honest question guys: Do you know how we could crowdfund a movie finale..?
If the sensies are now all in one place shouldn’t it be cheaper..? At least a graphic novel could be funded or something… Plus if everyone that signed the petition gave 10$ we would have 5million!!! With just a little help from this company that co-funded season 1 and was willing to go on if Netflix hadn’t purchased the entire show.. Netflix argument has no foundation whatsoever!! Sense8 is revolutionary in so many aspects: narrative, complexity and diversity of its cast, the various locations worldwide used for each chapter. There is comedy, violence, sex, science fiction, suspense! It is the complete package!! I´m sick just thinking there will be no third season! Netflix executives are out of their mind!!!
Please Please Please make season 3!!!!! There is no other show like this one, it is so unique and brilliant! The cast is great! I have to know what happens!!! I’m craving for more!!!

I FINALLY watched season 1 Episode 1 and fell in love with the story line and the characters, and have binge watched both seasons in a week!! Please bring this show back! I have to know what happens!!

Gosh Sense8 is definitely NOT OVER UNTIL WE SAY SO! It is up to us to continue fighting and I will continue FOREVER if it takes this long. Oh my gosh No!!!!! This is awful ! They need to change there minds! Season 3 needs to continue. I’m a huge fan and it SUCKS if it doesn’t continue! It’s the only reason I’m even watching Netflix.
