Spring has arrived and that means it’s finale season. ABC just announced their season finale schedule for April, which includes the season three finale of Speechless and the season five finale of Fresh Off the Boat.
Next month will also see the season two finale of Splitting Up Together (April 9th at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT) and the season one finale of The Rookie (April 16th at 10 p.m. ET/PT).
It’s unclear if any of these season finales will also be series finales for the ABC TV shows. All four, especially Speechless and Fresh Off the Boat, have slipped in the ratings over the course of the 2018-19 season. ABC has yet to announce any renewals or cancellations, so time will tell.

What do you think? Do you watch any of these ABC TV shows? Do you hope they get renewed?
I love to watch the Rookie, I hope many more shows are on the way
All those shows are getting old now , I am losing interest….it is like they are struggling to come up with material .
I only like the rookie
I love THE ROOKIE!!! Nathan Fallon was great in Castle and came back as a cop himself. Please bring this show back
Hope the rookie gets renewed- very watchable and I think a second season will give the program a chance to build ratings
I love Speechless! It is so clever, relevant, refreshing, and funny! The cast is great and bring the family and the issues of special needs to life! Minnie Driver is excellent and the character J.J. is well fleshed out and not just a bystander in the show.
I find Speechless to be my absolute most favorite show on television. All six of the main characters are most unique and I enjoy each one. Perhaps a spinoff featuring JJ, Kenneth, and Ray could be launched as those three launch careers and college plans. Move it up to a one hour format, and turn them loose.
The Rookie should be renewed. I think the cast is talented, diverse, and the programing is a mix of good and bad.
Love the rookie and splitting up together.
I love THE ROOKIE. Hope there’s more seasons to come.
THE ROOKIE is a KEEPER!!!….GREAT story lines!!!
I agree, The Rookie is a good blend of very serious crime fighting and the realities-both funny and serious-of every day life, The cast is very good and very diverse yet I get the sense these characters could be very successful working together. Hope to see more.
My daughter and I really enjoy watching The Rookie together. Since Castle, Nathan Fillion has reinvented himself in a great way again.
I agree! My father and I always watched Castle and now we are enjoying The Rookie. I look forward to seeing it every week. I truly hope there will be another season.
My husband and I love the Rookie.
I really like Splitting up together and the Rookie. I would really hate to see them go
You MUST, MUST, MUST keep “Splitting Up Together” and “The Rookie”!!!!!!!!! They are terrific shows and for everyone. PLEASE do not cancel them!!!!!!!
Thank you!
It would be a big mistake to cancel Splitting Up Together. Many of my friends and I watch it, and Love it. These Nielsen ratings are usually way off. Who are these people that they follow? There are so many trash shows on, why can’t we see a good comedy?
