Fans can enjoy the fourth season without worrying if The Last Ship TV show will be cancelled or renewed for season five. TNT already issued an early fifth season renewal back in September of 2016, ahead of the season three finale. Whether the renewal was actually for a fifth and final season could well depend on the ratings though, so stay tuned.
The Last Ship, stars Eric Dane, Bridget Regan, Adam Baldwin, Charles Parnell, Travis Van Winkle, Marissa Neitling, Christina Elmore, Jocko Sims, Bren Foster, and Kevin Michael Martin. The TNT TV series centers on the crew of the USS Nathan James, which must try to find a cure for a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the world’s population. In the fourth season, Captain Tom Chandler (Dane) is pulled out of retirement, after Captain Slattery (Baldwin) and the crew realize the Red Flu has “jumped kingdoms” and is now infecting food crops. The race is on, to save the world from a devastating global famine. **Status update below.

For comparisons: The third season of The Last Ship averaged a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.225 million total viewers.

Please keep The Last Ship going. It is an excellent show action-packed with Incredible actors. There is so much more you could expand on with this series and the entertainment is very fun for my family and me.

Season 6
Last Ship is my family’s favorite show. Eric Dane is exceptional and so are all the other actors. We hope hope hope 2018 will not be the last season. It’s action packed, wholesome entertainment. Prayers for Eric Dane to get the proper treatment for his depression. It wouldn’t be the same show without him.
Love this show the action , the female actors , please keep the sow running , the sow has good story, and suspense. Please do not cancel the show.
Love this show. Lots of action this season and very dramatic finale. I have to agree that the back to back hurricanes with power outages affected viewership and should be considered. Can’t wait for Season 5 and hoping for a few more seasons after that. Let’s remember that the US Navy gave the show a high civilian honor. It’s that good!
Last Ship is a great show lets do season 6 i will be watching! Its a must needed show!
Currently at a 0.33 live ratings average and they are thinking of cancelling? Are they running out of ideas? If it finishes above a 0.30 live ratings average, it still has better ratings than tons of shows that have already been renewed. I’m guessing MONEY is the issue here. It hasn’t been cancelled yet. Let’s wait and see.
Please keep the Last Ship. Great actors, good storyline, lots of suspense.
The Hurricane definitely affected the ratings as it did every other show on TV.
I love the show! Please bring it back for seasons 5, 6, 7, etc….
I really like the show and hope that it gets a very long run. I regret that Rhona Mitra was killed off earlier in the show but it has continued with a very strong story line. This season has got off to a nice start and I want to see how they tie it all together. Even with a season 5 renewal I hope the writers keep coming up with a new direction each season. Thanks.
Season 4 a little slow and bed scene was a bit out of character for Dane but remember he’s been through a lot and now he just a man lost at sea… sometime like a ship you’ve got to find your way. In all still my favorite show looking forward to season 5, 6, and even season 10.
Watched first episode of last ship and it will be my last. What a disaster// have watched and been a fan for the first 3 seasons. Eric Danes character was not of the same standards of previous shows. The last bed scene was the last straw. //////////// For me it was The Last Watch.
It a hell a lot better then last years start! Omg last season was a nightmare. At least this season they focus more and did a little more Character building . Last year all they did was bring in a too many new people, add on the sick and tasteless drama.
