On The Last Ship, the crew of the USS Nathan James must try to find a cure for a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the world’s population. The cast includes Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, Adam Baldwin, Charles Parnell, Travis Van Winkle, Marissa Neitling, Christina Elmore, John Pyper-Ferguson, and Jocko Sims.

Good show! Not like every show I’ve seen on either CBS, USA, or this one’s home network, TNT. In that regards, it’s quite brilliant and stands out over the rest and keeps me engaged. This past Sunday, we had the luxury of an episode remake from the Hunt for Red October, which worked well. June 21st – sometimes a lot of folks miss the advertising on the first go-around, so it happens that season premieres are the worst. June 28th a rating of .85. That’s workable. Our whole family loves this program, we tape it weekly to make sure we never miss an episode. We looked this up in early spring to be sure of renewal and start date to start the recordings. Please, please renew!!!!
I am so excited The Last Ship is back for a second season. I have loved the new plots and characters so far. I especially loved episode three. I’m excited for the rest of the season and hope it gets renewed! I hear great comments from others how much they love the show!

One of the best shows on TV; please do not cancel – the most horrid shows stay on the air year after year – no reason why – The Last Ship has excellent writing, great acting, no profanity, sexual nudity, drug problems, alcoholics, transgenders or other PC (today) creations – it is a clean, healthy show about American heroes. Please leave it alone. Season Premiere was great! Love this show so much!
The Drop was REALLY BAD! We can only hope for it to stabilize.
However, for the week, it was the network’s #3 show behind R&I and Major Crimes.
That’s good. I don’t follow Major Crimes, but Rizzoli & Isles is great. Hopefully R&I & this one can keep going.
