There’s a lot of data that WGN execs look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series but ratings are a major factor. Here’s an updated listing of all of their recent/current primetime scripted shows.

A couple of notes about these charts:
These figures are updated automatically as new ratings are released (usually a day or so after the broadcasts). The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). For technical reasons, I have to resort them manually so feel free to let me know if I missed something.
The demo numbers, which are typically most important to the broadcast networks, aren’t quite as vital to cable channels because their audiences are usually much smaller. Demo numbers are typically reported using the 10ths decimal place (2.4, for example). In the averages, I’m using an extra decimal for easier ranking.

I can’t believe that WGN would cancel one of the most interesting shows on Tv, Outsiders. It was the only show on WGN that was good. I look at your channel line up now and yall have nothing to watch. Without outsiders i will not be watching WGN at all and never did before Outsiders. I dont think these Exectives at WGN really thought this through. Good luck with your reruns and other dumb shows.
Outsiders was a great show! Big mistake with this cancellation. Everyone I tell about it hose back watches it and loves it but they’re streaming it. Win should include like hbo does the ratings of illegal watchers. Like game of thrones people are watching just not same day it’s on and they’re streaming it. I hope someone picks it up
Ugggg!!!!! I had noticed I haven’t seen a few of my favorite shows lately so I started to search for them and damn their all cancelled! WTF!!! Outsiders, Underground and Manhattan all cancelled!!!! No reason to watch your crappy station any longer. Don’t care for reruns of other stations shows. This station has really turned for the worse. I hope the next thing I hear about WGN is that their taking the whole sucking channel off the air!!!
Don’t understand why Outsiders is cancelled. Loved this show, it was different from most shows viewed recently. Please someone pick this up.
Pls don’t cancel Underground. I love the show! Season 2 left with such a cliffhanger. Too many questions left unanswered. I hope the show isn’t cancelled.
Season 1 Outsiders was my favorite show . Season 2 was smutty and crappy with out Asa. I got sick of feeling uncomfortable watching it with my teen because of how sexually trashy it had gotten. And I am by no means a prude! I am fine with them cancelling Outsiders after what it has become.
Very disappointed The Outsiders is cancelled – this was a show I really looked forward to every week! Wish you would reconsider or may Netflix will pick it up.

So angry that I started watching Salem and Outsiders. I got sick of all the reality show crap, and reruns of the same shows that have been on for years. Then I found WGN with new types of different dramas and then when they have you hooked, BAM they cut you off. I just don’t understand it at all. I looked forward to Tuesday night’s and did not know they cancelled outsiders flipped the channel and low and behold reruns of cops…total disappointment to have to Google the show to find it was cancelled.
Love Outsiders, please reconsider your decision to cancel. Look forward each week to seeing this series. Give it another run to see how it does.
Why on earth would you cancel “Outsiders” without finishing the storyline? With so much filth and mediocre reality crap on the air, this series gave me something to look forward to watching on Tuesday evenings! TV is such a disappointing wasteland nowadays and this cancellation has just added to it!
Why would you take this great show The Outsiders off the air. You might as well just take the whole channel off,nobody will watch anything on wgn if you take the Outsiders off. I bet you don’t cancell the underground. You people make me sick.

I stopped watching Underground when they cancelled Outsiders. Watching Outsiders started me watching Underground but now that Outsiders is gone so is WGN in my house! Come on Netflix!! Pick up Outsiders!!
