Freeform no longer has an appetite for Young & Hungry. Today, star Emily Osment revealed the TV show has been cancelled after five seasons.
The comedy stars Osment as Gabi Diamond, a food blogger who becomes the personal chef of wealthy tech entrepreneur Josh Xander Kaminski (Jonathan Sadowski). The cast also includes Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley, and Rex Lee, and Bryan Safi.
On Twitter, Osment announced the final 10 episodes of Young & Hungry‘s fifth season will be the end for the Freeform TV show. As of now, it is unclear when those episodes will air but they are expected to premiere sometime later this year. The first half of season five wrapped back in May 2017.

This show can not be cancelled..this is so sad..I just found this show on Netflix like 3 months ago and bingwatched the **** out it…this is such a great funny happy feel good sitcom…I absolutely adore Gabby and Josh and the rest of the cast..

Oohh please… whenever there is a good sitcom, they always shut it down. They want us to just look at criminal movie that make us feel more sad… no more gabby, no more how i met your mother, no more laugh, no more love… and they think we would like to watch some marvel superhero instead… gosh…

I LOVE Young & Hungry! It seems like every show I watch gets the boot! Which is why I end up watching reruns so much. I just found out that TNT cancelled The Librarians! The show, Last Man Standing, which isn’t a recent cancellation but I still hated it. I started watching the reruns on CMT. Before the new episodes & we know the rest. Absolutely loved that show. Boo hiss to Freeform. Was eagerly looking forward to season 6. Would like to meet the jerks who decided to cancel it so I could give them a piece of my mind!

If Freeform cancels Young and Hungry I will never watch this channel again I love the show and I want more. I have watched the seasons multiple times.
Freeform is just cancelling all their good show.. They cancelled Baby Daddy too… That show was funny… Pretty soon there will be no Freeform Channel

Loved the show! It was light hearted, fun and funny! I looked forward to watching it once a week. I’m pretty bummed it’s cancelled.
