India de Beaufort has landed a recurring role in the third season of TV Land‘s Younger TV show, from Darren Star. Deadline says de Beaufort will play, “…Radha, an Indian woman who begins dating Charles (Peter Hermann).” The actress previously played Jules Jackman on the Blood & Oil TV show, which was cancelled by ABC, after it reduced the drama’s episode order from 13 to 10.
Younger stars Sutton Foster as Liza Miller, a 40-year who pretends to be 26 years old, to get a job in the youth-oriented publishing field. The Younger TV series cast also includes: Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Hilary Duff, Nico Tortorella, and Molly Bernard.
TV Land says:
“Younger” follows Liza (Foster), a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing – and succeeds. Now working under the prickly Diana (Shor), Liza has to figure out how to balance her real life with best friend Maggie (Mazar), and her “pretend” life with her new crew – friend/coworker Kelsey (Duff) and fashion publicist Lauren (Bernard). At the end of season two, Liza’s secret took a tragic turn when Kelsey’s fiancé Thad (Dan Amboyer) was killed in an accident right after he discovered her lie, and Liza’s love life is in disarray as she tries to choose between on-again/off-again boyfriend Josh (Nico Tortorella) and her boss Charles (Peter Hermann), with whom she has an undeniable connection.
“Younger” is created, executive produced and written by Darren Star, with Tony Hernandez of JAX Media executive producing for TV Land. Dottie Zicklin and Eric Zicklin also serve as executive producers and writers on the series.”
What do you think? Do you like de Beaufort’s Radha as a love interest for Charles? Do you plan to watch the third season of the Younger TV series on TY Land?
