Bosch is ready for his final case. Deadline reports Amazon has renewed the TV show for a seventh and final season.
The police drama stars Titus Welliver as Detective Hieronymus ‘Harry’ Bosch, a rebellious member of LAPD’s Hollywood Homicide Division. The cast also includes Jamie Hector, Amy Aquino, Lance Reddick, Madison Lintz, Gregory Scott Cummins, and Troy Evans.
Season six of Bosch is slated to debut on Amazon in 2020. Read author Michael Connelly’s comment on the final season below:
This started seven years ago with showrunner Eric Overmyer and me writing the pilot. We plan to write the last episode together as well. We’ll leave behind the longest-running show so far on Amazon and it will be there to be discovered by new viewers for as long as people are streaming. That is amazing to me. The other thing is that we would not have come all this way without Titus Welliver. There could not have been a better actor to play this role or a better team player to build this show around. He’ll be Harry Bosch for the ages.”

Of course I watch Bosch and have even gone back and watched again. How do I want it to end? I don’t. There are too many weak and uninteresting series, so I don’t understand why quality shows with great writing and talented actors get cancelled. Bosch has lots more to do, so he really needs to keep on going.

I don’t want it to end!!! I have loved Bosch’s character for years and am thrilled it’s on T.V.—— It’s an amazing cast and they do honors to Mr. Connelly’s Harry Bosch books!
This is one of the best series on TV. I look forward to its release every year and watch the entire series in 10-14 days. It would be nice if Amazon would re-consider the decision to cancel the series and keep it going for another seven years.
Keep it coming , don’t stop with 7. It is the best hint going.
Many thanks to ALL who were involved with Bosch. My family (which includes my 90 year old uncle) and I have thoroughly and completely enjoyed each and every episode and book. Speaking for myself, I found every actor perfectly portrayed his or her character exactly as I had pictured in my mind whilst I was reading each book. I have said before, I will say now, and I will forever say in the future: Titus Welliver doesn’t PLAY Bosch-he IS Bosch. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
is there a set date for season 7 ? this show should NOT END WITH 7.

I have read all the Bosch novels and Titus Welliver has done an outstanding acting job as Harry Bosch.. For those who have not read the novels, I would highly recommend doing so.
Well I am truly disappointed. After catching up through all 5 seasons, i was addicted. They have a wonderful, cohesive cast and that makes the series special. Gregory Scott Cummins (Crate) and Troy Evan’s (Barrel) chemistry works out really well. Perhaps we’ll see them again in Michael Connolly’s The Lincoln Lawyer? Very sad to see Bosch ending…. Mahalo for a great 6 seasons and looking forward to seeing how Season 7 will end.
I think it’s great that they’re not over staying their time. It’s been good for 5 seasons, hopefully season six won’t be a disappointment. Given their track record I am confident they’ll do another good job.
Loved this show from the first episode. I’m so glad to see we have another chance to enjoy the dynamic writing and excellent cast of characters. Why nit make another 19 episodes for the many fans of Bosch?
Bosch is the best streaming show anywhere. Titus Welliver is superb and the supporting cast has been excellent. I am so disappointed that it will not be continuing for many seasons to come.
