Bull: CBS Orders New Michael Weatherly Series

by Jessica Pena, May 13, 2016

NCIS

Michael Weatherly is staying on CBS. According to Deadline, the network has ordered a new series featuring the NCIS star titled Bull.

Weatherly is leaving NCIS this year after 13 seasons on the crime procedural.

From executive producers Dr. Phillip C. McGraw and Steven Spielberg, Bull is a “drama inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw as the founder of one of the most prolific trial consulting firms of all time. Brilliant, brash and charming, Dr. Bull (Michael Weatherly) is the ultimate puppet master as he combines psychology, human intuition and high tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick.”

The cast also includes Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Chris Jackson, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio.

What do you think? Are you a Dr. Phil fan? Will you watch Bull?

New to this show. Just viewed first two episodes. I’m a civil litigation lawyer. Can someone explain to me with a straight face how the pilot in episode two can be “not guilty” in a civil case for wrongful death? I mean seriously, after OJ? How do you not know the difference between guilty (subject to incarceration) and liable (payment of money)?

I do not like it. It is BULL alright. The star made a big mistake leaving NCIS. We all loved him as Tony. I have to hunt for a second rate movie or program while BULL is being forced on us. Oh well, so is life.

I like it. It’s interesting to me as he analyzes people and the way they think and how their minds can be changed without them even being aware of it. Similarities to “The Mentalist” in the ability to read people (a show that I miss).

It is ridiculous. Shows how much Dr Phil thinks of himself. I can’t believe Steven Spielberg is associated with someone like “doctor” phil mcgraw.

We have been slow to warm up to this series even though we are huge fans of NCIS. Also, we are very disappointed in this show pushing the homosexual agenda. We will not continue to watch this series.

This show is a bunch of bull. Very few people would be able to afford this Bull character. He should have stayed on NCIS. Out of 10 I’d give it a 3, three and a half at most and that’s being generous.

I sincerely hope Bull remains on. I am looking for more intelligent tv. If more programs with the calibre of Bull existed I may buy cable again. I gave up watching tv on cable when the best program on was A Murder she Wrote rerun. Reality tv is badly scripted, yes it is scripted. Morals have been replaced with shock value. If I ran a network I would find interesting intellectual programming to keep the millions like myself that will turn off the tv and read if it does not improve.

The characters in the STeven Speilberg and Phil McGraw produced tv show “Bull” is actually based on real characters and the permission to use the story was never granted by the live people they portray. CBS and Steven Speilberg and phil McGraw should know better.

Watched “Bull” for 1-1/2 shows. Did not like it at all. Will not be watching it again. It was very boring. Not used to seeing Michael W. look so slovenly. He was always so clean cut on NCIS. Would love to see him back there.

This show brought to mind Seneca’s take on the theater: “Nothing is so injurious to good morals as theaters, for then vice makes an insensible approach and steals upon us in the disguise of pleasure.” Plus the show stinks, and I say won’t last the whole season.

Give the show some time & Michael W for the viewers to understand that he grew out of that part on NCIS. I would welcome him back to NCIS if that is what happens as a single dad but I like him as Bull and apparently Stephen Speelberg as Eecutive Producer thinks he has something to offer. This is the real world not all peaches and cream. Watch something else if you don’t like this show, I like it.

BULL — didn’t like the subject matter and photographs. If the show remains on such graphic horror in our world, my husband and I won’t watch. We have always enjoyed Michael W.

Whoever the writers were for this show MUST BE FIRED!
Micheal Weatherly is a good actor but “NO ONE” is talented enough to make this series a hit! My wife I I think the show is so Boreinggggggg!
Not to worry Micheal… The guy that took your place on NCIS stinks as much as this series does… I’d run back there and get your job back!
